Now, imagine what Chaucer would say about you. How would Chaucer describe you (in about 150 words) based on the dominate traits of your personality--not merely your physical characteristics, but everything combined that makes you you?
Think about how Chaucer used the characters' descriptions to represent their personalities, including how they walk and talk, how they dress, and how their hair looks. His descriptions also include what they talk about and activities they may or may not participate in.

not quite sure what he would have to say about me being that i have never thought of anything like this however i do believe that he would say that i was a quick thinking respectable person that is a good person when your on my good side.i think one of my strong suits would be my ability to be a fast thinker when put under pressure which would make me a good leader.

Chaucer would describe me as Michael McKinney, the man who tries his best to always be nice, fun, and hard working. Michael is a person who would be the first one at the hospital and the last one there helping clean up after an event. He puts a majority of people before himself. Mr. McKinney is a fairly square, yet somewhat round, built boy with dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes. This person is involved quite extensively in FFA, 4-H, Eagle Scouting, National Honor Socitey, and several sports such as wrestling and football. He plans to study agricultural animal sciences in the future and has an immense amount of passion for the world of AG. Michael wants to always be around livestock or be on the farm due to his enjoyment of the peaceful enviroment and all the interesting things, such as tractors because we all know he loves those lol. Michael tries to be a well-rounded guy and will do anything with a positive attitude if someone just asks.

I would be described as tall and slim. I'm fairly awkward and become uncomfortable very easily. I have a variety of facial expressions that tend to come off "judgemental" or as others call it "resting bitch face". I can be loud at times. Mostly outside of school. I'm that goofy, compassionate that tries to be there whenever you need him. This is really hard. I don't pay attention to myself enough. I guess he'd also say that nearly late to anything I have scheduled. I'd like to say I dress fairly nice. I pay attention to what my appearance is before I leave the house always. I'm very honest. I hate when people beat around the bush, I encourage them to be straight forward and honest with me, and I'm the same way back.

Although at first glance he may seem fairly average, upon second look I deduce that he is quite an odd individual who may be sporadic at times but never lets things get to him. Its hard to read him sometimes because no matter what mood he's in you will always see a shit eating grin on his face. The rather small fellow cannot withstand social interactions as he is very awkward. He is very compassionate towards people and whether you need him or not he will be there.

In order to describe me, Chaucer would use words such as boisterous, persistent, talkative, and irritating. I'm loud, I like to be heard, and I always seem to make sure that my presence is acknowledged. I say irritating because people seem to handle me, but often in small doses. If he were to describe my physical features I imagine he might call me mousey, or ordinary. I usually don't spend much time on my appearance. I wouldn't really stand out in a crowd among Chaucer's characters. Of course I'm not always just standing around talking. So If he were to dive deeper into my personality I would hope he would use words like empathetic, understanding, and encouraging. Words like that would help to show that my primary goal in life is to help people accept themselves as well as others. Those are the words I believe Chaucer would use to describe me.

Chaucer would describe me as quiet and shy. Someone who is a little awkward and scared to talk to most people. Someone who has to get to know a person in order to open up to them. Yet once they become my friend, I am someone who doesn't share your secrets, or judge you when you do any wrong. Someone who is a bit emotional and hard to handle at times, but who always means well, and never wants to hurt anybody. I am someone who is kind most of the time, but can be sassy when I need to be, depending on the day or the person. I am someone who tries to make people laugh, but fail almost every time. But most of all I am someone who is there for you when you need a friend, or just somebody to talk to.

I really like the idea because if you were told to make up a story you would tend to make up one you are ok with and would believe true.

One of the first things Chaucer would likely notice about me is how outgoing and talkative I am. Like the friar, I would know someone everywhere I go. I’m comfortable making conversation with anyone and everyone, even complete strangers. He would, without a doubt, mention my highly overdeveloped sense of sarcasm. Other ways Chaucer could describe me would be vivacious, fun-loving, and adventurous. I’m always on the hunt for new experiences, foods, places -- new anything, really. Chaucer might also mention my penchant for quoting books and movies. After more time, Chaucer would likely notice that I’m highly introspective and abstract. I think about the big picture, which often causes me to be distracted and forgetful when it comes to small details.

I think he would describe me as different, doesn't fit into just one category. I don't just like one type of music or anything really. I'm not preppy, but I'm not a tomboy either. I'm not nerdy but I'm not stupid, I am quiet until I'm either comfortable, just don't care, or am passionate about something. A lot of people first know me as quiet, average, and maybe even a bitch. I don't care what people think of me or how I look, but I will dress up from time to time for myself. If you make me mad I guarantee you ll know. Even though I have a tough exterior, I have been told I have a VERY big heart. If I'm close to someone then I will do anything for them, and even if I'm not close, if someone needs me I will do everything in my power to be there.

Chaucer would explain me as a silent and shy kid if you do not know me, but can be fun to be around if you get to know me. It takes a special person for me to get along with because i may always look mad and am not a man of many words. Also i'm honest and if you cant take the truth then i might not be the person you want to be around. Im not the brightest lightbulb in any room i go in, but i'm usually not the most stupid one either. I'm a curious guy also, because if i am doing something i don't want to just being doing it. I want to know my reason behind it.

Chaucer would describe me as a hardworking, determined and responsible individual who puts everyone before herself. I am trustworthy and kindhearted. He would mention my natural ability to communicate with others whether it be with friends or strangers. He might label me as a leader more than a follower because I am comfortable sharing my opinions and ideas with others. However, I am more of an introvert when it comes to emotions and feelings. Personally, I would rather keep everything to myself than having people worry about me. It just seems easier. Chaucer would without a doubt consider me as outgoing, adventurous and ambitious. I strongly want to succeed in everything that I do. I am very much a perfectionist. Chaucer would mention that I live my faith well.

I think he would say that I'm very strong willed and opinionated. He would also describe me as caring, as I do care for lots of things and lots of people. I also would be described as stubborn, which I am I. every way possible. I'm very family oriented and enjoy my sleep yet like to be active. I'm also very argumentative and like to be right, and I'm very protective of the ones I love and myself. He would also describe me as someone who always like to try and do the right thing. My appearance would be described as tall and brunette.

Chaucer would definitely take note of how cripplingly awkward I am in basically every situation. He would also mention how shy I am, because i'm usually the one in a room just sitting there not speaking unless i'm with a group of people that i'm very comfortable with. He would mention my poorer qualities like my forgetfulness and how easily I overreact about insignificant details of my life. He might also mention my better qualities like how I really try my best to make people feel better when they're down or how many plates of pasta I can eat in one day, which is honestly both important and impressive. I can also imagine him saying something about how sheltered I've been throughout my life and how I haven't really had very many trying experiences, or incredibly exciting ones.

I think Chaucer would describe me as talkative, responsible, mature adult. I like to be outgoing and talkative to my peers, but I have also learned to be very mature throughout my life. I think he would also give me the traits such as caring or family oriented, because my family is a huge part of my life. I am also adventurous because I love to travel and am always up for something new. I think Chaucer would describe my appearance as tall with sandy blonde hair.

I think Chaucer would describe me as outgoing once you get to know me but shy and quiet at first. I'm very competitive at everything that I do. I don't really run outside of the pack and I go with the flow of whatever life gives me but I can also be curious at times. The things that are the most important to me are family and friends, sports and music.

I think Chaucer would describe me as inteligent, hardworking, and not very talkative until I warm up to you. He would probably also describe me as blunt, straight to the point honesty in a see it how it is way. Chaucer would also describe me of having a dry humor. Chaucer would probably list of many of my short comings like being an avid procrastinator, and a wandering mind. He would describe me physically as shorter than average, fairly fit, with brownish hair and blue eyes.

I think Chaucer would describe me as friendly and responsible. I love to be with people and to be talkative and have fun with my friends and others so I think he would mention I am outgoing and kind. I think he would also negatively say that I am lazy and impatient. I have a hard time being focused for very long unless something is exciting as well. I think Chaucer would say that I like to have fun and to make other people happy as much as possible. I like the way he describes the characters in the story because it is not based on how other people see them but by how they really are.

Chaucer would probably start of by calling me lazy, and young. I would probably be recognized for my ability to talk along the trip to canterburry. My story told might be entertaining enough to win the meal at the end of the trip. Hed say in the times we stopped along the trail, Id probably be sleeping or talking. Im not too socially awkward so itd be easy for me to get to know the others. Chacer would probably see me and the squire as best friends, I like the bachelor life of the squire. The trip would be interesting i wouldnt complain too much, chaucer could say I enjoy traveling. Id have plenty of questions about the characters used in all of the tails because I think thats a good way of connecting with a story

Chaucer would describe me as someone who likes to get in arguments. A fast thinker and very distracted a lot. I like to take problems or anything rationally and logically. I like to think a lot and come up with different ideas. I like thinking of possible ideas rather than doing them. It's just an interest of mine.
