This is a contest to see who can "sell" their contemporary novel in 100-150 words.Your quest is to write a book description that compels us to want to read your novel. After posting your own book description, "vote" for your favorite description by posting on someone else's post. You must post a vote, and you cannot vote for your own.
Your forum this week needs to be in the form of a Twitter conversation between one character from Beowulf and one character from your contemporary novel. There is a two-tweet minimum, and each tweet must contain at least 1 hashtag. Remember that Tweets cannot exceed 140 characters. #havefun!
By now, you should be close to finished with your group novel...if you haven't finished it already. What connections can you make between your novel andBeowulf? Consider and discuss story lines, characterization, themes, etc. You need only respond to me, but you must do so in at least 100 words.
Since we taxed your brain this week with your official ACT, we have decided to give you a short reprieve from your forum. Check back next week!
