Next year, I plan to go to college. I have not committed to one school yet, but it is looking as if I will be attending Wichita State University. Major wise, I'm undecided. I have tossed around the ideas of going the Pre-Med route, but decided my other life goals (having time for a family, traveling frequently, having some free time, etc.) were more important. At the moment, I am considering majoring in something along the lines of Communications or Social Work. This year, I need to focus on my school work and maintaining my grade. I also would like to keep up with my job, make a lot of great memories with my friends, and, most importantly, enjoy being a senior. I have been warned that this year will go faster than I realize. It's going to be tough to leave the people I've been in class with since 7th grade, or even prior, it will be great to branch out and try new experiences.

My plans for next year aren't specific, yet. I do know I plan to attend college. "Where" is the question. I have deeply considered K-State. I do aspire to be a veterinarian one day, therefore, K-State looks to be a superior option. I do have desires to continue playing tennis and continue on my love for percussion, though. These become harder to attain as my future progresses toward bigger universities. I do hope to continue some type of job relating to a coffee shop in college. I have a newfound respect for coffee, and people, for that matter, that I wouldn't have found anywhere else. I truly do love my current job. I plan to also express my creative side through diving back into art classes, as well as, start up on guitar lessons again. I hope to minor in something along the lines of graphic design. To assist in making my dreams a reality, I need to stay focused on keeping my priorities straight. I need to make time for Jesus, my family, friends, school work, job, and just designate some "me time" (which may include lots of iced coffee dates and my newfound love for One Tree Hill). Most of all I just need to learn to let life happen, and enjoy my senior year. There really is not even time to be stressed out anymore! It's going to be a crazy journey, but I could not be any more excited.

My plans for the future have gone from rock solid to no idea and back again many times. K-State has always been something to consider but other schools have been popping up on my radar. The major I was looking into has also been changing. Urban planning has been my main option for a while until I found out the other night that K-State has Pre-Chiropractic Medicine, which is something I have also been beginning to look into. Having to put down all of my classes that I have taken in my high school career as well as the grade I got has really made me think about what I have to do to get better scholarships and well as be considered for the sorority that I hope to join, if I go to K-State. I may end up like my sister and pick where I am want to go to college a week before I have to move in.

Next year, I hope to attend the United States Air Force Academy and major in aeronautical engineering. While there, I also plan on learning how to fly and participating in their jump, powered flight, and gliding programs. Depending on how much free time I'm allowed (you don't get much), I would like to play snare in their drum and bugle corps and possibly study abroad. In order to attain an appointment, I am currently working on my application, and have been doing so since March of last year. The application process is complex and very involved. Since you cannot receive an appointment without a nomination, I have sought nominations from our senators and our district representative. If these officials are impressed by my application, they will call me in for interviews, which will occur in October. I've also been training for my Candidate Fitness Assessment, which I plan on completing in September. In order to score well, I've been running every other morning, doing push-ups and pull ups, etc. To be honest, I'm doing much more than this to get in, but I don't want to leave a novel for you to read. Unfortunately, however, since the acceptance rate is very low, I have also been working on a backup plan, and have begun applying to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, K-State, and Oklahoma State. If I don't get into The Academy, I plan on attending college and participating in Air Force ROTC. I am also applying for an AFROTC scholarship, and that is a whole other process in itself. It's a lot of work, but I am confident that it will be worth it in the end.

Next year I'm definitely looking at going to college. Whether it be a four year, or online school, I want to get my teaching degree to become a teacher for USD 418. I really don't want to go to college for the experience, to be honest, but mainly to get my degree as soon as I can so I can start teaching. I need to make time this year to choose what college I want to go to. If I can't do that this year, I could always take a year off. But I do know for a fact I want to be a teacher. I'm hoping to get lots of scholarships - free money!

Next year I'm planning to head off to WSU (or Bethel, or Central Christian, or Fort Hays State [backups are always nice]) for college. I'm planning to major in a general music major, while also getting my teaching license, because my primary plan is to teach music - although music business would also be a good way to go, if I change my mind, and I'm never going to stop performing. I might minor in English, although I'm not really decided on that. One obvious thing I need to do to be able to go to college at all is get my GPA up a bit more - that's really important for scholarships, and without scholarships I'll be screwed when it comes to college. I also need to start taking private music lessons some time soon as well, because otherwise I'm likely to be far behind anybody else who I'll be with in college. And finally, one of the more important and at the same time less important parts of this, I need to get my driver's license. I have to be able to get to the college and get around on my own, after all.

Next year, just like many other seniors, I plan on going to college. I’ve visited a few colleges at this point of various sizes, and I have liked schools like Friends and Washburn that are a small, contained campus located in a larger city. By talking to friends older than me and experiencing, first hand, colleges in our area, I know that I want a school where I can be involved easily, without getting lost amongst everyone and everything going on. As far as majors are concerned, I would love to do something working with little kids...however I do not want want to become a teacher! This year, I am doing lots of research and comparing of schools in order to help me make that decision first. I am also looking around for scholarships because free money is always good money. Hopefully I can make many of these decisions as soon as possible in order to lessen the load I have on my back!

Like a typical high school senior, I have aspirations to go to college and get my bachelors degree. To make those realities possible, I must pay attention in school and a lot more than I have been doing these last three years. I know I've slacked off way too much for someone who wants to go to college, and now I have to fix all of that my senior year. It starts with the ACT and continues through all my classes. If I expect to go to college, then I have to get my act together and stay out of trouble. Easy for most people, not so easy for me.

Admittedly, I've not been blessed with a very well-structured plan for my future. Though my ultimate intention is most certainly to attend and graduate from college with (at the very least) a bachelor's degree, the three big questions; "what", "where", and "how" consistently pose a very serious threat to me and my composure. Regrettably, I really only have time to summarize so... "What?": Not sure. "Where?": No clue. "How?": Fully commiting myself to; my education, my community, and my financial stability. Although, without an answer to the previous questions my answer to the "how" will be entirely meaningless. So, say it with me, I'm "Utterly Screwed"! But hey, (yeah, conjunctions aside) endeavors like this are just another part of life. I'm sure I have some talent that's worth expanding upon in a professional environment. Will I find it any time soon? Maybe, maybe not, though it's all in the interest of time.

Next year, I plan to attend college. I'm not too sure of where just yet but I am almost positive that it will probably be Kansas State University. I would love to go to a school way far away from Kansas but financially, this is my best option. I have not chosen a major yet and get scared every time I think of doing so. I do not want to commit myself to one thing when I have passions in so many fields. In order to fulfill my dreams of traveling, meeting new people, having a job I love, and having a family, I will need to keep up my grades, social life, and financial stability. Although that sounds like a lot of work, I am really looking forward to my senior year!

Throughout my elementary and secondary school years I have been very indecisive with regard to my future plans. People always give the advice- "Do something you love, and you'll never work a day in your life."

Next year I plan to go to college and play softball and major in exercise science. I have not decided on a college because I don't know if I want a university or junior college. They both have benefits but I am still waiting to commit until hopefully the start of spring sports. Once I have committed to a college I hope to find an internship with a sports trainer or even work on campus with the other sports. Getting the basic knowledge down before I go into a professional job. I really want whatever I do to prepare me in the best way possible for my future after college.

As of this moment, I am undecided on my major. I feel like that puts me at a disadvantage, but I'm not one to make quick decisions. The college that I'll attend is also in question. I've had a few ideas. I'd rather have a smaller private school, not a huge university. However, the price tag goes up with private colleges. I'm planning on getting scholarships to help finance the cost. This year, I need to focus on my scholarship opportunities. I need to buckle down and actually do them, because that's how I'll get to go to the college of my choice. I find myself not looking forward to graduation because of my lack of a plan. This year, I need to be weighing my options and making decisions for my future.

I plan on going to college next year, but I'm not sure where. I've been thinking about going to K-State lately because credit that I've already earned for a few college classes will transfer over. I'm not sure what I want to major in yet but in the past I have thought about physical therapy or something in healthcare. This year I need to job shadow a few different places in town to see what I may be interested in. I also need to apply for as many scholarships as I can so that I won't have to worry so much about paying for college.

My plans for next year are pretty much planned out. I have narrowed down my school selection to KU and Emporia. Although, KU is definitely looking like the top choice so far! We have a long line of KU graduates in my family. My grandfather, both my parents, and in December, my brother, are all graduates from there. I have already been accepted to KU and applied to Emporia but I haven’t heard back. This year in order to prepare and make the final decision, I have scheduled a visit to both schools. Because of our family tradition, I have been to Lawrence probably over a hundred times! But when it comes to Emporia, I have only driven through the campus. So the visit is very important! Scholarship applications are also a big part of senior year for me. Who doesn’t want to apply for free money? My mom wants me to treat scholarship applying like a part time job. Even though there are a million decisions to be made this year, my biggest goal is to simply enjoy my last year in McPherson.

I have not yet decided on a college yet, though I have been accepted by K-State. I will most likely go to K-State. What I need to do this year is to keep my GPA at an acceptable level and apply for scholarships. I will also try to break 30 on the ACT this year. To accomplish these, I will need to refocus my studying abilities as I backslid last year. With four AP classes, it will be challenging to keep my GPA up. I will also need to study my math and comprehensive reading skills, as those were my two lowest scores last year.

Next year I'm not one hundred percent sure on where I'm going to college, but I am for sure going to college. I'm planning on going to Hutch Community College for two years to get my associate's degree and then switching over to a four-year university for another two years to get my bachelors. I'm not certain on what that degree is going to be in, but I'm leaning towards business. I need to really raise my GPA this year and my ACT score to be able to have the opportunity for more scholarships, making college cheaper. I also need to learn to not procrastinate everything.
