The Nun's Priest's tale deals with the importance of dreams. Think about dreams you've had in the past. What do you think is the importance of your dreams? Do you feel like they give you warnings or premonitions at times? Discuss a dream that you feel like was important to your life in some way. For example, before school starts every year, I always have dream set in school. These dreams are usually bad in some way. They end up making me nervous about the upcoming school year. Your response must be at least 100 words, and you only need to respond to me.

Throughout senior year my dream is to be able to make it to college and not regret my choice of a major. I think I have changed what I really want to go to college for every year, I am hoping that I have finally chose the right one for me. It scares me that when I get there it is not going to be everything I was thinking it would be. When I get there I will know, and that is what freaks me out the most, is the wait of not knowing until I get there.

My dreams can be extremely random and pointless at times. I do believe though that dreams can be a foreboding type thing for me though. A lot of times in my life I have a dream that feels insanely real and whenever I wake up from said dream I feel uneasy and scared. Whenever I wake up with that feeling from a dream then the bad, or sometimes good, thing that I dreamt about ends up happening. I really do believe that sometimes people's dreams can be visions or premonitions of things to come. Whether it be a good thing or a bad thing.

I've had several dreams lately about how my life is going to be when I graduate high school. It makes me very nervous about making new memories, starting a life, and making my way into a career I'm excited about doing. Sometimes, I have premonitions about things not working out how my mind sees it and that makes me super nervous. I feel like if I put my mind to what I want to do, then my dreams will come true.

I think the importance of dreams is to give your brain a chance to have fun. They let your mind wonder without the fear of going to far in one direction. At times, they may seem to give you warnings but I don't think that it really is all that big of a deal. It could be just something that happened recently and you just over thought the situation. I have always had a hard time remembering my dreams once I have woken up, but bits and pieces still linger in the back of my mind. None of them have really impacted my life in a great deal, except maybe a couple dreams I had once my Grandpa passed away. They were all too real and frightening, but when I woke up, all that sadness/fear went away because I realized he was in a better place.

When I was really little, I kept having a reoccurring dream that my dad would leave me and go into the military (my dad has no military background). I kept having these dreams that I would beg him not to go and he would just keep walking to where the military people would line up to leave. I was convinced that my dad was going away in real life and that I would never see him again. After a couple months of me having these dreams, my dad ended up getting arrested and was in jail for 6 months. I would say that that dream in particular was a warning to me that my dad was going to leave me for a long time. The difference was that he came home in real life.

I believe dreams are what keep people going. Everything starts from a vision, a dream. What I constantly dream and think about is my future. College and after college, my career. I dream a good life and a healthy family. Although, what scares me sometimes is when I have a dream about a bad life. That makes me fear the future a little bit. The fact that at any moment anything can happen. I do not know what to expect. But, they do make me realize that you have to work your butt off in life to make your dream come true. Being positive and determined.

The dreams I’ve had in the past month have all been related to me running from something that is chasing me. I don’t know why or what this is suppose to mean. Maybe it isn’t suppose to mean anything. Maybe I’ve been having these dreams because we have been playing fugitive lately. The more I think about the dreams of me running makes me think that maybe I keep running away from something I shouldn’t be. Or maybe it’s telling me that I need to go out and run to lose some weight. But who knows, it could mean anything.

I have had many different dreams lately. It depends on if I am in a happy mood then I will have a dream of something positive. I had a dream about going to college and inventing something and making a lot of money but donating most of it to people in need. When I am mad or sad or anything negative I have bad dreams. I have had bad dreams about losing someone close to me or something bad happening to me. I think it just really depends on what is going through my mind that day. Most of my dreams are positive. They are usually about growing up and being successful in the career I went to school for. They often give me good ideas that I have never thought of before.

Honestly my dreams are very pointless and mean nothing to my life outside of my head. I don't feel like my dreams give me warning or anything just because of the fact its pointless. One time I had a dream when I was little, where I kept running and running from a spider. And I was really scared of spiders. I kept having these dreams and I took it in a way where I needed to face my fears! So after my third time having that dream I started killing every spider I saw and that helped me get over my fear of spiders as a kid.

My dreams are usually very random but at times they are about something specific going on in my life, or about something that I am planning on doing in the future. A lot of times my dreams are about safety. I will have dreams about being scared to death. I know that some point in my life I will be scared about something because I tend to worry once I get a bad thought in my head. Most of the time my dreams are so unrealistic that I really shouldn't even worry about it happening. Most dreams that I have I can honestly say that I don’t remember them so therefore that shows that they are usually irrelevant to my life.

I have had very strange dreams in the past. Sometimes I feel like things in my life that happen have happened in my previous dreams but they are just simple things like words that people say nothing to serious. I do not think that dreams are premonitions. I had this dream about being in the same house as courage the cowardly dog that was a cartoon on cartoon network when I was little and that show was really scary to me. But in my dream the old man in that show started chasing me out of the house and I got on my bike and drove down a country road until I drove into a field where there was a bull and it ate me. I was about 4 or 5 when I had this dream but it really struck me and scared me that I still remember having it now. I am not quite sure what that dream was about but it really affected me.

I have had some very strange dreams in the past that make no sense at all. But it seems like all of my dreams are about what's going to happen the next day. I've had plenty of dreams about baseball, hitting homers, or throwing over 100 mph. Most of the time I have these sort of dreams when I have a game the next day and probably dream about it because I'm focused on it. I don't think that these dreams are any warnings. They really just make me realize what I have ahead; which is obviously baseball and to really to just play and have fun..

I have many odd dreams. Some of which I feel happen later in my life, like deja vu. It’s very odd when that happens to me. One of the dreams I had was my aunt died and we were having her funeral. I was pretty young when I had that dream. In 2012, my aunt died of ovarian cancer and I thought of that dream. I also used to have tons of dreams about school and some about church. Almost every year before school started in elementary and middle school, I had some form of dream pertaining to school. I also had some pretty scary dreams about my parents leaving me. I was very young when I had that one.

I had a dream that i was stuck in the basement with no lights with this creepy scary thing then I stole my moms car to escape it worked but then I had got out the car for some Takis and i went back to the parking lot and the car was gone i was being chased by this scary thing. the worst part is the takis was horrible in my dream so I ran back in Walmart and there was a purge going on I had to join in so i grabbed the pool noodles and tennis balls and the tennis balls where bombs and they would swell up and explode and i ended up being eaten by this evil doll.this taught me i am scared to death of dolls

As far back as I can remember, my dreams have been frustratingly mundane. What this means, I am not sure. It may mean that my life is so frustratingly boring that my mind has nothing else to base it's dream material on, or it may mean that my life is so bizarre that my dreams have to make things boring in an attempt to "even" things out. The one thing that I know is that our dreams are an attempt by our waking conscious to decipher the swirling confusion of our preconscious. So according to modern psychology, our dreams mean absolutely nothing at all.

I think the importance of dreams is to show you true hopes and fears you have that you don't really think of. I often have dreams about dying. Dying is a big fear I have that I don't necessarily think about that often because I don't plan on facing it very soon. I also have dreams about life after high school and college when I am in the real world on my own and I dream about what kind of life I want to live.

My dreams do not make sense at all, they are really strange and random. one time I had a dream I was about to get killed in my house when I was at home alone. I felt like i was in a scary movie or somthing and just before i had went to sleep i had watched a scary movie. this has happened many times where i would go to sleep and dream about something that I had watched or done right before going to sleep. when i was younger and i watched something scary i would make sure i would put on cartoons before i went to bed to make sure i wouldn't have a nightmare. If i did i would just wake up and then forget what it was about
