The Nun's Priest's tale deals with the importance of dreams. Think about dreams you've had in the past. What do you think is the importance of your dreams? Do you feel like they give you warnings or premonitions at times? Discuss a dream that you feel like was important to your life in some way. For example, before school starts every year, I always have dream set in school. These dreams are usually bad in some way. They end up making me nervous about the upcoming school year. Your response must be at least 100 words, and you only need to respond to me.

Dreams are important because they allow me to have something to look forward to. My dreams do give me warnings sometimes. They let me see what an outcome could be to situations happening in my life. Sometimes I even have deja vu moments where I'm pretty sure things have happened in my dreams happened in real life. I already have dreams about college. It's terrifying. I dream that I get lost all the time, and get kicked out of classes because I was late trying to find them. Those dreams give me so much anxiety going to a new school I'l be unfamiliar with. My dreams give me lots of anxiety.

I think your dreams are there to warn you of things that are going to happen or are of things you are worried about happening. Or there of people we miss to give you that reminder of them. I have dreams about work where I can't do anything right and it makes me nervous. Last night I had a dream about messing up my speech I have today. It makes me more nervous that those things are going to go wrong. But I also have a lot of nightmares of things that could never happen like a spider as big as a horse chasing me and I'm not able to run. I did gymnastics for years and I have dreams about trying to tumble and do flips but I just land on my face. Dreams like that, I don't think have a meaning but that I might miss gymnastics. I believe some dreams do give you some warning about things.

I believe dreams are very important. I am sure everybody had a dream about winning the lottery when it was up to over a billion dollars. Everybody dreamed about what they would buy, what they would do or where they would go. I think dreaming is a good thing it helps you get your mind off things.

Dreams are very important especially at a young age. They give birth to imagination something that we know when we get older is very important. Dreams are important to everyone though, it gives us all something to strive for, a goal to strive to reach. When I was younger, like many young boys, I wanted to be a professional baseball player. I wanted to play for the Kansas City Royals and win the World Series! Baseball is always something that has been very important in my life. I have been brought up and it always has been a big part of my life.

I think the importance of my dreams are ways of telling you that you should do what is in your dream. Like if you want to be mechanic but you keep having dreams that you're a welder then you should be a welder. But if you don't have fun being a welder but is really good at it then be a welder. I had a dream of donating blood and then I died so i'm not gonna donate blood. I do get premonitions every once in a while.

Dreams are important sometimes because they can warn you of things soon to happen to you. I have had dreams in the past and then a long time after they happen things from the dream will happen in real life. One time I had a dream before school started where I was going to one of my classes and I could not for the life of me find it. Things like that are weird. I'll also have dreams about video games sometimes when I play them for a long time.

To be honest I don't think there's any importance of dreams. I believe that good dreams are sometimes made because it's something that you want to happen. I don't think they give any warnings or anything of that sort. That would be like you seeing the future which doesn't happen. I've had a lot of dreams about football, but none of them actually happen. There's been times when I've dreamed about bad things happening in football, but nothing like that ever happened. I even have dreams now about football and bad/good things happening, and I don't even play football anymore so I don't think dreams have any significance.

Dreams are important I think. I think your brain collects a lot of information through out the day and at night your brain some how puts all that together and we some how get weird dreams. Sometimes I think we get dreams of the future too because we wonder and we dream about it. I have a lot of dreams of my future and if I'll have my dream career and be successful.

I don't necessarily think dreams mean anything in particular, however, I do think they are interesting when I do have them. Dreams are just thoughts of your subconscious, I think they are our thoughts, but I don't think they necessarily tell the future, or what is going to happen to us. Once I had a dream that I got kidnapped by the grinch, but the next day I was still in my bed, and was never kidnapped. I don't have very vivid dreams so I usually don't even remember what they are about. The only time that my dream has been true was a couple of years ago I dreamed that my mom was pregnant with twins and then the next week she told us she was pregnant, it was only one baby but still pretty cool.

I feel like dreams are very important. Sometimes they remind you of things that you've forgotten, or remind you of people. Usually my dreams are about things I've been thinking about. I had a scary dream last year about our school being in lock down because of a shooter, and I think I had that dream because I watch a Netflix episode of One Tree Hill and it was about a school shooting. Then the next day we had a lock down drill in school! So I thought that was pretty ironic.

Throughout history a lot of importance have been put on dreams. I personally take the side of science and don’t believe dreams have any special meaning. This being said I do believe they play an important role. If I remember, the latest widely expected theory on dreams is that they are your brain replaying experiences as a way to encode memory. However since people do place an importance on dreams they do in turn have an impact on life. It’s kind of like getting a “reading” from a psychic. A lot of information is given to you that is applies to a wide range of scenarios, letting your brain draw the connections.

Dreams can be very important because they give an impressional start to your day. Most of the time I forget any dream I have had before even leaving my bed. There are some dreams, though, that I remember very well. For instance, I tend to have the same dream about a plane crashing into my neighbor’s house many times a year. I do not know what this means, but it is a very odd story. I have never been on a plane and this dream is probably telling me that I don’t specifically want to.

The importance of dreams is big in my opinion because without them we would have no imagination or something to look forward to. Especially when it comes to children. When they aren't ready to start developing their brains they need something to think about or make up in their heads. Even if the dream is outrageous and highly unlikely to happen, it is still exciting to look forward to something. My dream that I have always had is to go to Hawaii and see my family that I haven't seen for years and years. Importance of this dream is to never give up hope that one day my family and I would be able to visit them. My dream is finally about to come true this summer!

I do not believe that dreams tell tof things to come. They might scare you into believing some crazy possible thing happening but in reality it will never happen. To go along with my belief of dreams don’t tell the future. I am one of those people that very rarely remembers my dreams. When I sleep, I typically remember blackness and that’s about it. The dreams I do remember in the morning typically have something to do with things that have gone on throughout the day. The only dream I remember is from when I was younger and a T-rex attacked me and a group of people in this house. That’s all I really remember.

On average, a person spends 8 hours a day sleeping. Although, it’s safe to assume most high schoolers don’t get the “average” amount of sleep. But, this means that we probably spend a good portion of our lives dreaming. I don’t think that dreams usually mean anything and I wouldn’t do something just because I dreamed it. I do think that on occasion, dreams are a way for our mind to tell us something that our body can’t. Dreams aren’t in anyway a big thing of importance in our lives but I do think it can be a cool way to connect with our minds subconsciously.

I feel like dreams have no importance I believe they are there just to be there. I honestly don’t dream very often and when I do it’s normally a bad dream, such as people trying to kill me in some way or something bad is happening to a friend or family member. So I haven’t had the best experiences with dreams and they don’t really have an importance to me because none of them have ever happened or I can’t remember them anyways. There are so many studies being done about dreams and they have nothing really about them and why they happen.

I think that dreams are a very important part of our lives. They prepare us for situations that might actually occur in the real world, so that we don't freak out and not react correctly. I know that I have dreams, but I have a really hard time remembering them for some reason. One dream that I actually remember when I was a little kid was a werewolf was chasing me and my family. The werewolf ended up eating my older brother's guts out. I was so freaked out and emotionally traumatized. So I think that the dream made me realize how important my family is to me, because it actually gave me the feeling of my brother dying. Really powerful stuff.

I don’t think dreams are very important. I think it’s just your mind putting things together from what happened during that day. I think what kind of dreams you have depends on what’s going on in your life. If it was a stressful day then your dream might be something weird and not make a lot of since. I don’t think our dreams give us warnings either. If it’s a dream about something going wrong then it’s most likely because you are worried that it will go wrong and not because it will go wrong.

It depends on the dream, but I think they're important. I usually don't remember my dream, yet the ones I do remember have a big impact on my. The most recent ones were about me forgetting to pick up my girlfriend for a date. They actually helped me wake up on time and have time to be ready for it. I think they can help, but most of the time they're just there to subconsciously remember what you did during the past few days, or to think of what you're going to do in the coming days. All in all, they've helped me, but I think I just forget the useless ones.

I believe dreams signify something whether we know what it is or not. Many times I have dreams and they are awesome, rarely do I have bad dreams. I think the type of dreams you have, represent your lifestyle. If you are a happy person I think you mainly have happy dreams. If you are a negative person I think you would have bad dreams. I think the most important dream I had was a dream when I was hanging out with all my friends. When I woke up I realized that it would soon be all over, and I should cherish every moment I get to have with my best friends.

I believe that dreams are important because they can warn you that something is going to happen. I think that the different things in your dreams represent something in your life that has happened, is going to happen, or is happening to you currently. I also think that if there is something that is really on your mind then you will dream about it. One time I had a weird dream about a lot of different thing, but later that week I put together all the pieces and the things in my dream predicted the future by showing me a different representation of everything that was going to happen without telling me straight foreword.

I think your dreams are there to warn you of things that are going to happen or are of things you are worried about happening. Kinda like dashavoo. In some other cases there of people we miss to give you that reminder of them. I have dreams always about my grandma and how she always comes to see em just to say hi and to tell me that everything is going to be okay. Last night I actually messed up at softball tryouts and i got cut from the team my senior year. But I also have a lot of nightmares of things that could never happen like a serial killer chasing me and I am not able to run and no one can here me yelling and then I just wake up scared and then I can't sleep anymore, Dreams like that. I believe some dreams do give you some warning about things.
